Find Your Way Home
A soft line of light down the path, so nobody has to feel for the front step in the dark.

The Verdano runs on either solar or mains power, and that choice is made at purchase rather than being locked in by the fixture. The solar configuration charges through an integrated panel and switches itself on at dusk with no trenching and no wiring run, which makes it viable in the middle of a lawn or at the far end of a path where pulling a cable would mean lifting paving. The hardwired configuration takes 110V to 240V and delivers constant output regardless of how much sun the spot gets, which matters under tree cover or on a north facing boundary.
The body is extruded aluminium with a PC lampshade, a pairing chosen because aluminium does not rust the way steel posts do once the powder coat is chipped by a mower, and polycarbonate resists impact and UV far better than standard acrylic. The rating is IP54, which covers dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, the realistic exposure for a ground mounted post that takes rain and sprinkler spray rather than submersion. Output is fixed at 3000K warm white, a temperature that reads as lamplight rather than streetlight and does not throw a blue cast across planting.
Six heights run from 31 inches up to 138 inches, with wattage scaling from 8W to 40W and coverage from 54 to 161 square feet per unit. Because the specifications share a common design language, mixing heights along a single run creates a stepped rhythm of light rather than a flat line, which is how landscape lighting is usually laid out in practice: taller posts to mark entry points and turns, shorter ones filling the stretch between. Control is by wall switch or remote depending on configuration.
Specifications
A soft line of light down the path, so nobody has to feel for the front step in the dark.
It quietly collects sun all day and gives it back the moment the light goes.
Sealed against rain, frost and sprinklers, season after season.
Every fixture is specified by how the material ages, not by how it photographs.
One considered fixture does more for a space than three forgettable ones.
